The designs are by Juho Viitasalo, a Finnish designer based in Japan.
These convey traditional Finnish culture while being done up in a modern design sensibility.
The pattern pairs well with a cloth yukata robe.

Furoshiki can be used in various ways depending on how you tie them, and the shape of the item you are wrapping.
It could also be used as a multi-purpose surface or placemat.
